Two procedure rooms and six “pre-post” beds accommodated over 2000 patients in 2009. Open Monday-Friday, we also are willing to come in for emergency procedures after hours and on week-ends.
We have seven physicians performing gastroenterology procedures and two pulmonologists are also on staff for bronchoscopy procedures in our negative pressure room
Nurse Manager Kent Swarny and Director of Peri-Operative services, Sheryl Nicholson, head up this team.
The staff continually promotes the importance of screening and has participated in multiple in service community projects. Members of the staff have also planned their follow-up “Have Your Colonoscopy” Day for later in the year.
