Congratulations to Jim Collins and his colleagues at the Cleveland Clinic

Jim Collins submitted a poster at the SGNA Nationals this month in St Louis, MO.  It was titled Reducing Specimen Errors in the GI Unit. It was submitted in the Educational Poster Category and won 1st place!  Obviously this was something very pertinent to everyone and very clear and easy to read, as those of us that were able to go to the conference will attest. Look for this poster at our own conference in the Fall.  Congratulations Jim, we are proud of you and appreciate your effort in education!

Jim was also the Grand Prize winner in the "Share the Wealth: Member Get A Member" program for referring the most new members.  The Grand Prize was for $599 airfare travel anywhere in the continental United States.   Colleen Quinn was a First Prize winner and recipient of a complimentary Annual Course Registration.

Congratulations to Linda Assad, Debbie Luteran and Linda Smith  on winning a monetary scholarship to the National conference this year in St Louis from the National Association.  Twenty eight people were awarded a scholarship. We hope that more will see it is attainable and try next year!
